Walking long distances, finding endless visual and auditive inputs, and bumping into thousands of people may cause stress in tradeshow visitors. Developing a rest area or a leisure zone is very important to deal with this issue.
Turkish studio Yerce Architects created recently a wonderful space at the Hannover Fair, Germany. By the name of Tropicana, this environment recreated a luxurious old-fashioned venue, which was surely inspired in late XIXth Century Architecture.
Filled with exhuberant greenery, the exteriors resembled a greenhouse. Yet, the ample interiors, with checker floors and chandeliers, granted the feeling of a victorian café.
A vertical garden was the perfect backdrop for the jazz band at the welcome area.
