We are fascinated by new buildings, by monumental forms and by beautiful structures. Azure Magazine has done a shortlist of architectural works called “Buildings to Watch in 2018”, which matches these characteristics.
We selected three of these works that seem especially interesting as a source of inspiration for us:
- Morpheus Hotel, by Zaha Hadid Architects. Located in Macau, it will open during 2018. We can describe it as an organic structure within a solid geometry. Hadid’s architecture always looked for ways to defy the traditional flat surfaces. (Above these lines)

- Ninjing Green Towers, by Stefan Boeri. Vertical woods against pollution. This is not the first time that this studio produces a similar idea. They will be planified in conjunction with other green zones of the city to create a network of spaces. These will generate biological urban habitats.

- Victoria & Albert Museum of Design Dundee, by Kengo Kuma. It’s Scotland’s first museum dedicated to design. Opening by September 2018, it is built by the sea with a completely asymmetric and sculptural structure. This museum is made of cast stone panels.
Have a look at the rest of the selection. You might find it creatively stimulating!
