This June has been very hot, although we know summer is coming and temperatures notably climb the thermometer, we have had quite intense days. Dealing with heat is one thing, but having to deal with humidity as well is another. Despite this, we have remained unstoppable: creating and designing personalized projects for each of your companies, setting up your stands at every fair, and organizing the kind of events that we love so much. All of this with a lot of heat, but with a lot of enthusiasm, eagerly, and care.
Traumatology Events Quartet
IFEMA in Madrid opens its doors to the GEER congress, organized by the Spanish Society of Spinal Column. An epicentre for meetings and knowledge exchange among orthopaedic surgeons and a good number of neurosurgeons.
Under a burning sun and at 34°C, we landed in Seville to head to the Hotel Meliá. There, the second traumatology event of the month was held. The Spanish Society of Hip Surgery organized the 26th SECCA congress, where clinical cases were presented in various sessions. Furthermore, in such a digital era as the one we are living in, a large part of these presentations focused on digital learning in hip surgery, robotic technology, advances in implant design, and revision techniques.
We flew north and landed in Santiago de Compostela to build a stand at the 1st International Congress of Pediatric Orthopedics, born from the union of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Orthopaedics and the Portuguese Society of Paediatric Orthopaedics. Both societies organized this event at the Hotel Monumento San Francisco to bring together their professionals and debate the most advanced current techniques.
Our last congress specializing in traumatology in June was held at the NH Hotel in Malaga. The Spanish Society of Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery organized the 45th SEMCPT congress. Professionals in this pathology gathered at the venue to share their experiences and learn about new trends to apply in their interventions and treatments.
SETS and SEMICYUC in the Valencian Community
The Provincial Council Auditorium of Alicante opened its doors to celebrate the 34th Congress of the Spanish Society of Blood Transfusion and Cell Therapy (SETS). Through conferences and workshops, attendees were able to strengthen collaboration between different areas of medicine.
The Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Intensive, Critical, and Coronary Units (SEMICYUC) welcomed us at the Congress Palace of Valencia. The congress addressed essential clinical information to keep specialists updated on the latest research and developments in intensive care.
EULAR and ECDP in Barcelona
We return home to build stands at two events within the health sector.
The EULAR Congress, dedicated to rheumatology, opened its doors at Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via. The event, organized by the European alliance of different associations for rheumatology, aimed to provide space for advances in this specialty. The congress also aimed to connect innovative research with practical application, thus ensuring a smooth transition from diagnosis to patient care.
In the same city, but in another of our already known venues, the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona was adorned to celebrate the 21st European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP). A congress where many techniques, advances, and novelties in the sector were also shared. With the power of AI and advances in health science, powerful and increasingly reliable disease detection tools are being created.
